SVEA is rekowned for its high quality products and services, continuous care for its customers at home and abroad, and its enduring care for the environment. We communicate with our customers, participate in fairs at home and abroad, carefully consider laws and regulations related to the company and we aso consider other regulations to which we give consent, especially to those that are related to environmental protection and to our internal requirements for our products. All of these and more are the basis on which we develop new products with the sole purpose of meeting the requirements of our customers. Our ultimate goal is a satisfied customer who will get more than expected.

High quality, functionality, a pleasant design, flexibility, usability, market and environmentally friendly products are our attributes, which assure our leading position on the Slovenian market. We are successfully entering foreign markets; our kitchens are exported to more than 30 countries the word over and more than a third of our total sales revenues are made on foreign markets. We export to most countries in the European Union, Scandinavian countries, eastern and western European countries, North America and middle America, Australia and the former Russian states. 

The high quality of our products is confirmed by the ISO 9001:2000 standards for a Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2004 standards for an Environmental Management System.

In SVEA we use environmentally friendly material and technological processes in the production of kitchen cabinets, in »the heart of every kitchen« of each of our customers, as well as in the production of other furniture, timber and glulam timber.

A clean and tidy atmosphere is part of our relationship to the environment. We respect environmental regulations and build environmental awareness oriented towards:

• environmentally friendly technological processes and
• the efficient use of resources.

This is how we manage it:

• We respect the laws and regulations and other legislation that the company has agreed to and we are concerned about environmental issues;
• Every year we carry out assessments of environmental dimensions and evaluate our compliance with the legislation; we define and follow-up the indicative and operational targets and environmental management programmes;
• We communicate with local and state authorities and other partners;
• We raise awareness and provide information concerning environmental protection to our employees;
• We educate and raise awareness of environmental issues;
• We implement environmental aspects into all of our actions and relations with our suppliers, service providers and business partners;
• We control waste disposal and provide the safe and environmentally friendly disposal of hazardous waste;
• We constantly improve our environmental management system and take all the steps to prevent pollution;
• We assure the sustainable development of environmentally friendly products;

We have made a public commitment to pursue an environmental policy in all of our actions and further develop this poilcy in compliance with the development of the company and the requirements imposed on us by the community.
