1960 - 1969: Restructuring of the production

Industrial company with the shortened name of LIP Zagorje ob Savi. In 1967, the Worker’s council adopted the decision that the name of the company be extended to SVEA Lesno industrijsko podjetje Zagorje ob Savi. SVEA is an abbreviation derived from the name of the central Swedish region, Svealand, the place of origin of the first kitchen we made in 1960. Following the increased demand for modern kitchen furniture, the production was increased and in 1964 we started reconstructing the production facility.
From 1969 to 1971 SVEA was a business unit of the Hoja Ljubljana Woodworking plant.
